CHAPTER 14

Jheel was continuously writing notes, completely immersed in her work, while Taksh, seated a few rows away at his desk, kept stealing glances at her again and again while delivering the lecture. His frustration was now reaching its peak. At home, there was no way he could meet her, and here at college, she had stopped even looking in his direction. All she ever did now was stay buried in her notes. Whenever he asked a question, she only gave a direct, minimal answer, nothing more. For quite some time now, there had been no conversation between them at all. Not only was the monotony pushing him towards madness, but the emotional silence between them was so intense that he felt compelled to take drastic measures to break it.
