CHAPTER 23

Today, after lunch, everyone will return to their respective homes. Suman comes inside quietly, as she does every morning, while securely holding her saree around her shoulders. When she notices Adhiraj is still sleeping, she breathes a sigh of relief and rushes over to him for a cross-check. She walks to a dark corner and begins draping her saree. She can't wear the saree to the bathroom because it's outside, so she drops it up and fixes it in the room.
